This statement applies to naace.org.uk. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Using this website

You should be able to:

  • navigate the whole site using just a keyboard, starting with a “Skip to content” link on every page
  • zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen, and use the site on any screen size
  • switch between light and dark themes, or have the site follow your device's setting
  • turn off animation — the site respects your device's “reduce motion” setting
  • use a screen reader: pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels, and informative images have text alternatives

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Known issues

We know some parts of the website are not yet fully accessible:

  • Some PDF documents, including older issues of the Advancing Education Journal and governance documents, may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • The member login and online EdTech Review Framework at erf.naace.org.uk are a separate system and are not covered by this statement.

If you need information in a different format — such as an accessible PDF, large print or plain text — email membership@naace.org.uk and we will do our best to provide it.

Reporting a problem

We are always looking to improve. If you find a problem not listed on this page, or think we are not meeting the guidelines, please email membership@naace.org.uk with the page address and a description of the issue.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
